Wrote... Thanks for the brilliant vintage fender sunburst refin you did for me. Really the best refin I've seen in over 40 years as a Fender bass player. The work on the neck and pickguard were outstanding as well.

Wrote... Let's keep this short and sweet: This guy is superb at what he does! And I assure I wouldn't post this unless it was 100% true! He did complete relic job on my 62 reissue strat and he even made it look like John Frusciante�s from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers like I asked. What I don�t understand is how someone can put so much time and precision into something that is going to be sent away and he�ll never even see again...a true craftsman!

Wrote... After returning home from a couple of gigs in Italy, I discovered that my beloved SG Custom's headstock was broken due to my ignorance of not taking the tension off the strings and the cold in the hold did the rest. Fortunately I took my beastie to Steve Smith and he did an incredible job on the neck. He had a young assistant who when Steve retired took over his mantle as probably the best Guitar builder and repairer in the country! Dan Macpherson is that man.He has recently done some work on my two wonderful Les Paul's...I didn't think they could be improved but Dan has used his skill to make them irreplacable.All this is done with a great attitude and sound advice and i'm glad I know where to go for anything to do with guitars!Cheers Dan!!
