Just thought I’d drop you a line to say how pleased i am with the guitar. You've done a fantastic job, the colour is perfect and the depth of finish is amazing.... but most importantly it Rocks! I'm so impressed by your workmanship Dan, i hope one day my efforts at guitar building will look half as good as yours.

Dan,

Received the tele body yesterday - I haven't had a chance to put things
together yet but it looks fantastic. The finished product is way beyond
my initial expectations and I don't think it could be improved upon. The
finish is superb and the little details like the date in the pick up
cavity and your branded stamp in the neck pocket give it a real feel
of handcrafted quality. I also love the carved heal - thanks for the
suggestion.

First of all let me thank you for the amazing job you have done on my Guild bass.
As requested, I've attached a selection of before and after photographs. Please feel free to put these on your web site as an example of your work.
I spent all day yesterday putting the bits back on and setting it up.
The final result is a truly wonderful guitar, both in appearance and vintage sound qualities.
I shall be forever in your debt.
Again, if you wish to add my comments into your website as an accolade to your talents, then please do so.

Finally, I sent a couple of the pictures to the guy in the States who I bought the guitar from. He wasn't the original owner, he only had it for a week, as he's a guitar dealer and only bought it to make money. The original owner, had the bass from new back in 1975 and used it for nearly 29 years, hence the wear.
That said, the dealer I bought it from replied and said of the refurbished guitar, I quote:
" That is one of the most amazing restorations I've ever seen. Incredible work!"

I can only echo that sentiment and more . . .

The Francis Rossi of Status Quo green respray that you did on my Fender Mexican Standard Telecaster is absolutely stunning. I love it. If I ever bought another Tele and wanted a Rick Parfitt white colour, you will be the only company that I call,

The hole through the body was a great idea it is a god send!

Dear Dan,

You are a genius! I received the guitar and I am more than satisfied. After a close and thorough inspection (almost not believing that it belongs to ME), I am amazed at the result. The finish is flawless with the wood grain showing just enough giving it such depth, not to mention the back of the neck with the shade just a little lighter in the middle. The frets are dressed to perfection with plenty of material left to allow for many future re-dress, IF necessary. Also, I can safely add that even if it was original Gibson factory finished, it NEVER was as good as how it is now, done by you. I would be honored if you would post on your web page this testimonial and pictures (if you have taken any) of the work done to my 335. If not, please do it with the next Gibson you are re-finishing for me. Looking forward to it!

Hi Dan !!!

I only can say MAGNIFICENT SUPERB JOB what you’ve done with the guitar. It
arrived Friday late in the afternoon, and when I took a look on it I
couldn’t believe what I seen. It’s much more better than I’ve ever expected.
I was almost tearing of joy. It’s a magnificent job, really; the repair on
the back of the headstock is invisible, and the disguising with the spraying
of the same colour than the rest of the guitar is a incredible job. If you
don’t know it has been repaired, and look at it very very close, you can’t
notice it. Your skill is amazing. You are not good YOU´RE GOD !!!. You
should be called Dan "the magician" MacPherson. I shown it to my mates in the
band where I’m playing and they couldn’t believe what they were seeing. We
all were amazed and surprised.
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH DAN. I have not more words to describe what I feel
and what I think about your skill. If some day you come or pass through my
town, San Sebastian; just make a phone call. It will be a pleasure to invite
you to have a drink !!!

My Les Paul arrived safely last Friday morning 24th November which was much faster than I had expected. What a paint job, the finish is superb. I am very, very happy. I was a little worried that I might be de-valuing the guitar by changing it from a natural to a gold top but who would ever know ?
