The neck of an HT carvetop being carved by hand. All our necks are
hand carved with a body file, a cliffton concave spokeshave, a standard
spokeshave and sanding block.

This Guitar has now had a golden yellow stain applied. Once the binding has been cleaned it will be ready for lacquering.

Some of the jigs and patterns that are kept
in the store room. All of these patterns play a major part in guitar
making. We have made just about every style of guitar over the years including
some oddball designs!!! All patterns are kept for re-use or reference.

This is the pin router, a simple machine with incredible accuracy.
A Burns Legend body on a jig which enables the trem cavity to be cut at the correct angle to give the springs clearance.
Some of the timber kept in the store room. We always keep a large
stock of timber, body blanks, pre-cut necks and fingerboards ready for
use.
